Just a note of thanks to you and especially the girl who served my wife and I,in February.I was advised by Darren at Park Farm to go to yourselves for a pair of track shoes,which I needed for The Marsden March,a 14 mile walk on 17th March ,the girl who served us was excellent,and found the right shoes in our price range,and also gave us a discount as I was doing a charity walk It is so good to come across a shop where people want to serve you and are knowledgeable,as so many shops treat you as if they are doing you a favour by serving you.
I completed The Marsden March on a cold wet Sunday just inside 3 hours 12 minutes.I couldn’t switch the apps on my phone off straight away due to steamed up glasses and a wet screen on my phone I treated the walk as a race against myself to prove a point,the majority of people were just going for a gentle walk,a truly wonderful experience.I did feel sorry for the marshals who had to stand at junctions directing everyone for hours on end but were always cheerful and shouting words of encouragement.
